According to sources, Microsoft is gearing up to bring some of its exclusive games to rival platforms! The first two rumored to be making the jump are Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment, with Sea of Thieves possibly sailing over later this year.
But hold on, there's more! Whispers suggest even bigger titles like Starfield and Indiana Jones might be joining the multiplatform party.
So, why the sudden change of heart? Apparently, Xbox Game Pass subscriber growth has slowed down, and Microsoft needs a wider audience to reach its ambitious goals. Plus, that Activision Blizzard acquisition is putting pressure for more gaming revenue.
But not everyone's cheering. Some Xbox fans are worried this means the end of dedicated Xbox hardware and their precious digital libraries.
Microsoft hasn't confirmed anything yet, but they're holding a big event this Thursday. Expect some answers and maybe even a glimpse into the future of Xbox hardware.
