Stardew Valley Update |
Stardew Valley! Big news for all you farmers out there, the much-anticipated update 1.6 is dropping today, that's right, TODAY!
ConcernedApe, the super cool creator behind Stardew Valley, has been teasing us with all these fun little patch notes for the past week. It's been like a daily dose of Stardew surprises in our chats!
Now, some housekeeping before we get down to the juicy stuff. Apparently, it's best to try out the update without any mods at first. But hey, if you gotta mod, gotta mod, there are ways around it.
Alright, alright, let's talk update! The official release date is today, March 19th, but we don't have an exact time yet. Don't worry though, PC players will get it first, with mobile and console following "as soon soon as possible." Patience is a farmer's virtue, remember? ♀️
ConcernedApe has been dropping these patch notes one by one, and let me tell you, they're hilarious. We're talking stuff like being able to walk through your pets slightly faster (because, let's face it, sometimes they get underfoot) and your sword swings finally hitting those pesky enemies hiding below. ⚔️
Yet it's more than just fun and games. The update also fixes a bunch of bugs that have been hiding in the game for years! For example, who knew it was actually faster to gather crops from left to right? It's a fair game, regardless of which way you swing.
Speaking of trees, chopping them down will now give you saplings that grow even faster. Bonus points if the tree produced high-quality fruit, because the sapling will too!
Lovebirds rejoice! Getting married no longer means your spouse spends a week in a post-wedding funk. They'll be ready to cuddle and help you run the farm right away.
And for the adventurous eaters out there, you can now chug a whole jar of mayo if that's your thing. No judgment here!
Speaking of organization, the update lets you color-code your chests! No more digging through endless rows of jellies and pickles – now everything will be beautifully sorted.
Finally, the biggest reveal – a brand new farm type! We don't know all the details yet, but it comes with two free chickens and some seriously "chewy blue grass" that sounds perfect for your animals. This is will be epic!
Thus there you have it folks, Stardew Valley is about to get a whole lot more interesting. With over 30 million copies sold, it's clear this game is growing more than ever, and this update is mere frosting on the cake.
Happy farming!
